Pasalubong

Dade's Ninong K is Chinese, so it was expected of him to bring home to Dubai these yummy tikoy in time for Chinese New Year (which I have not tasted, by the way, in years!):




He also hails from Bacolod so he threw in some Ube Piyaya & Pastillas de Manga, too.

Tikoy!!! I am so inggit! This is definitely one of my favorite Chinese new year treats... whether fried with egg or wrapped in lumpia wrapper - both so delish!

yup, tikoy is my favorite Chinese New Year treat, too. with or without egg or lumpia wrapper, i can eat it as long as it's warm :)
